The bullet point version…
* I am an Air Force BRAT born in Germany and graduated High School in Germany and moved 11 times in between.
* Being a BRAT is probably the thing that has shaped me most in life.
* I have lived in the Dallas, Austin, and Houston areas throughout my time in Texas.
* I have lived in Hays County longer than anywhere else. It is Home.
* I am an only child (and still bitter about it)
* I am half Puerto Rican
* I care deeply for anyone in service and I honor our Heroes that are Active Duty, Veterans, Educators, First Responders, Nurses, and let’s be honest, Single Parents.
* I graduated with a BA in Communications from The University of Alabama – Roll Tide!!
* I married the love of my life in 2001. It’s a long but beautiful story.
* I am a Solo Parent to 3 Teenagers/Young Adults and a Stepmom to 2 Teenagers/Young Adults. It is the greatest and hardest role and blessing of my life.
* My life’s mission is to live well and love well in all I do. So I love BIG. And I care deeply.
* I love people. People are my JAM. I LOVE helping people.
* I get by on coffee, mindset work, exercise, family and friends (and wine).
* I love to read and listen to Podcasts.
* I’m an Enneagram 6 and an Empath.
* I was Hygge before I knew Hygge was a thing.
* I speak some Spanglish.
* Personally and Professionally, I am the same. I put heart in all I do.

Moving Forward. It sums up my life’s journey and how I can help you with yours. I grew up an Air Force BRAT and moved too many times to count, from state to state and overseas. I have lived in Texas since 1998 upon graduating from college and Hays County since 2005…I finally planted some roots!
After graduating from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) with a BA in Communications, I worked as an Advertising Account Manager in the Dallas area. Throughout my career, Communications, Marketing and Client Relations and Service have been my focus and my field of expertise.
Hays County is my home and where I have raised my 3 kids. I strive to be connected to our community, support our local schools and businesses and leave people better off than when I meet them. I pride myself on being local and loyal and bringing care and compassion into everything I do.
As a solo parent of 3 kids, I understand the challenges of change and the hope of a new home that comes with new beginnings. With all of my life and career experience, I bring both personal and professional skills to your journey. Real Estate is more than just a transaction, it is a relationship. I am Passionate about PEOPLE. I LOVE Properties. And my goal is to guide you to finding PEACE in the Process.
This passion for people led me to create a Facebook Group called Ladies Living Out Loud. What is shared there stays there. We share our stories, our feelings, our experiences, our support, our encouragement, ourselves. These ladies show up. BIG. We continue to show up daily in big and small ways. We show up with events, workshops and community to dream big and empower each other.
And that group lead me to start my very own Podcast, Moving Forward with Jen Baker.
Sharing our stories is not only a way to connect and create community, it’s a way of learning, growing, helping and healing. We fail, but we can fail forward. We can keep moving forward. I specialize in Residential Home Sales. And Relationships, if that can be a thing. I have extensive personal and professional experience and skills that make me an asset in your Real Estate Journey. I believe that education and understanding empowers you, so I strive to make that part of the process. My job is to make this as peaceful as possible for you while putting your best interests first. Military, Veterans, First Responders, Educators, Single Parents and Women are precious to me. Relationships are what it is all about. We connect through our stories and sharing our experiences.
